Gardens
I have been photographing gardens for a number of years. I love plants and gardens, and that includes hard landscaping and design. I love to shoot their colour, texture, form, architectural characteristics, all changing over the seasons. I get my enthusiasm from my mother, a lifelong gardener and plantswoman. I put my soul into photographing gardens for people.

Product
I've photographed lots of makers' work - ceramics, jewellery, glassware, sculpture, furniture, textiles, prints and paintings. And I took photographs for a series of articles about Suffolk Craft Society makers and their work in Suffolk magazine. That includes studio product photography, portraiture and still life. The mix of these gives a rounded picture of what makers do and how they do it, and the resulting pieces.

Places

Portraits
People make me tick. Taking portraits makes me tick. I tend to shoot in situ, or outside, rather than in my studio, but that's possible for certain styles of portrait.

People
People make me tick. Wherever, whenever. Especially in galleries.
